BLC Design Hotel

The in-room breakfast was a lovely surprise and didn't cost extra. The croissants were the best we've had, with fresh juice and fruit salad. Staff were warm and accommodating, and arranged adjacent rooms for our family. Both rooms were spotless, fresh, crisp, and quiet, with a large TV facing each bed and lots of channels. We also had those postcard views of the Eiffel Tower and Paris rooftops. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The team made the biggest impression on me. They were friendly and welcoming throughout my work trip, and came across as genuinely kind people. The hotel is in a great spot with plenty to do nearby, and the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. WiFi was great, and the soundproofing was good enough for me to work and sleep peacefully.

WORST HOTEL EVER! I'd give zero stars if I could. We booked a 4 day trip to Paris and chose the blc hotel on booking.com because the photos looked nice. I paid around £350 for 3 nights. I wasn't expecting perfection for that price, but did expect somewhere decent. When we got into our room, it was filthy: mud on the floor, BLOOD SPLATTERS on the shower curtain, thick dust everywhere, cracks in the marble floor, and more. We went to the lobby and asked for a refund or help finding another hotel because we refused to sleep in a room that dirty. The receptionist said nothing could be done until the manager came at 7am the next day. I politely asked her to call the manager, but she rudely refused and left us waiting. About an hour later, she knocked and offered us a bigger room. We checked it out, but it was just as dirty. We didn't care about the size, only the cleanliness, so we turned it down. After an uncomfortable night, we went down at 7am and told the manager we wouldn't stay another night because of the awful conditions. She just said “no” and looked away. We went back and forth for ages before she refunded the two nights we wouldn't be there, but still charged us for the night we had stayed, even though the staff had said they couldn't help us the evening before. Do not stay here.

A good choice if you want somewhere affordable and acceptable and won't spend much time in the hotel. The location is handy for transit and lots of fun cafés. My room was clean and nice, though small, with a big comfortable bed and fantastic air conditioning. Breakfast didn't feel like good value. I also had issues with the shower curtain, which was too small and let water pool on the floor every time, and there was no way to switch on the bedside lamps.
