Cosy Studio - 2P - Strasbourg Saint-denis

The bugs and the heat made this stay miserable. We were there during a heatwave, and the tiny window wouldn't open. There was just one floor fan, which couldn't cool the two bunk beds. I killed a cockroach the first night, and bugs bit me both nights. My friend was bitten only on the second night, but woke up with 43 bites. We barely slept, and the studio didn't have enough floor space for two people. It's on the sixth floor with no lift, which wasn't a problem for us. The shower and toilet are combined, so water gets everywhere, but that wasn't an issue for us either. What did cause trouble was getting the keys: we had to walk 8 minutes to pick them up and drop them off. Before arriving, I sent two messages and got no reply, though automated messages about early check-in and late check-out for an extra cost kept coming. Some of the six check-in instruction photos wouldn't load, and they didn't say which door belonged to the studio, so we kept walking around trying to find it. The website I booked through had great reviews, but they fooled us. The reviews don't do the flat justice.
