District Nation

This small, comfortable hotel is a good fit for solo travelers or couples. Families may want somewhere larger. It’s tucked away from the busy Paris streets, and the rooms were pretty soundproof and quiet in the evenings. I was traveling alone from the US for a couple of nights and slept really well despite having a cold. For Paris, the price felt worthwhile.

The room was cozy and lovely, and I enjoyed my two nights here on my own. The staff were friendly too. The blanket could be better. A real quilt would be nice. Still, I loved staying here. Thanks!

The location was ideal for getting on the metro, and despite being in the city centre, the hotel was surprisingly quiet. Wi-Fi worked very well, reception was staffed around the clock, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The staff were friendly, courteous, and quick to handle any request. Cleanliness was excellent apart from the kettle in the room, as shown in the picture. We liked the hotel's design and concept, and the lounge was lovely. We would have enjoyed being able to have a glass of wine there in the evening. Space is tight, as you'd expect in Paris. The hotel is small but nice, and the so-called double bed was only 120x200 cm, making it a snug fit for two. Breakfast was a letdown: limited choice, no fresh fruit, and no music in the breakfast room, so the loud coffee machine was constantly audible. The bathroom door was hard to open from inside once locked. There was no safe or minibar in the room. Even with those shortcomings, the price was good for what you get, and I'd recommend it if you can overlook the issues.

The hotel was very quiet, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was okay. I had a pleasant stay in a small but functional room, conveniently close to Nation station, where you can catch the M6 and get to the major landmarks. A comfortable, convenient option.
