FM Hotel

honestly, this is easily the best hotel ive ever been to. the service was great, the bed was clean, and the bathroom was really nice. free snacks and drinks too. i felt safe and relaxed in this beautiful place. 10/10 would reccomend

Worst hotel I've stayed at so far. It was dirty and noisy, and the location felt dangerous.

We left early the next morning, unable to sleep in the room with all its problems. The mattresses were worn and uncomfortable, the floor was sticky, and there was an unpleasant smell throughout. The bathroom had mold and bacteria, especially on the shower curtain. The pillows were dirty and yellowed, with visible sweat stains. The sink was blocked and overflowed, and the toilet wouldn't flush properly. The wardrobe was faulty, with hangers scattered around, and the window wouldn't lock, which felt like a security risk. We were also uncomfortable with a staff member repeatedly coming in to offer help, and felt afraid for my wife and daughter. The person who showed us to the room wasn't in uniform and seemed unprofessional. There was no lift, so we had to carry our luggage up to the third floor, which was inconvenient and unexpected. At check-in, being asked for our passports also concerned us, especially since other places we'd stayed only needed a booking number. We were worried about our six-year-old daughter because of homeless people and communities with substance misuse issues nearby. The poor standard of service seemed clear when we later saw the receptionist sleeping on the floor.

We had to keep asking reception for towels, and there often weren't enough for everyone in our room. The rooms weren't cleaned regularly, toilet paper was missing, and the shower holder was in poor condition. Mold was visible in the room, and the bathroom had a persistent sewage smell, suggesting poor maintenance. Staff were not courteous or willing to help. All of this made for a deeply disappointing stay at FM Hotel, well below my minimum expectations for a hotel. I wouldn't recommend it to other travelers.
