The staff support stood out most: the front desk team were among the most pleasant, helpful and supportive we’ve met in 15 years of travel. We found this place, like our other trips over that time, through the Rick Steve guidebook, and Hotel Bonaparte ended up at the top of our list, even compared with higher-priced Rick Steve Paris recommendations. Our room was a typical European size. The bed was firm and comfortable, and the rain shower had plenty of space, hot water and soap. There were lots of large, soft towels, like the ones I have at home. The hotel and room were fully air conditioned. We visited in late May during a week when Paris was over 93 degrees, and the AC kept the room cool while we were out, so it was comfortable to come back to. St. Sulpice on Metro line 4 was less than five minutes away: out of the hotel, left, then a quick right to the end of the block. Breakfast was a typical continental spread. Fresh fruit would have been nice, but what was offered was fine.

The Napoleon room was bright, spacious and very clean. The location was ideal, with attractions, restaurants, shops and public transit all nearby. The people working there were friendly and professional, especially Frédéric. I had a great stay at Hotel Bonaparte.

The bed was nice and firm, and the location was great. But the website says there’s AC and there wasn’t, so the room got hot at night and I had trouble sleeping. The shower water also wouldn’t stay hot.

We were a family of three, and the quiet AC kept the room cool just right. Everyone slept well in the comfortable, well-arranged beds, and the soft pillows were especially nice. The room had Parisian details like ceiling ornaments and a big gold mirror, while the bathroom felt clean and modern. We also loved having a balcony with a lovely view and great chances for photos of the neighborhood. A charming blend of old and new.

The breakfast was good, and my room was peaceful and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. St Sulpice, an awesome church, is just around the corner, with lots of nice bars and bistros nearby. From Gare du Nord, take Metro 4. The St Sulpice station is very close.
