HIGHSTAY Maison - Boétie

I just got back from three nights at Highstay Boetie in Paris. The property is beautiful, and the kitchen and washing machine came in handy after travelling around Europe with carry-on luggage. The concierge service really made the stay. They were friendly every day, informative, and ready to help whenever we needed them. Someone was always there in person, and they were available on WhatsApp too.

The apartment was charming and really well designed, and the service was attentive and always available. Check-in went smoothly too. A perfect little Paris getaway, and I’d happily return.

The design details are impressive, both in how the apartment looks and how thoughtfully everything works. Even the crockery and cutlery are high quality, well matched, and carefully chosen. Its proximity to the Champs is a real advantage for anyone who values being close, whether or not that’s their preferred shopping area. The staff are incredibly helpful, which is unusual in coded-access apartments. Nothing we asked for was too difficult to sort out. Great culture to nurture. 👏👏 Management clearly understands that keeping good staff and service matters, and helps avoid ongoing complaints from unhappy customers. We chose the Boetie location for an eight-night stay in October after looking for somewhere quiet, luxurious, and convenient for travelling with our nine-month-old. Instead, the bedroom window in our two-bedroom apartment faced a nightclub. It was open and often busy every night until 6am, keeping us awake. My husband and I shared night duties with our daughter, so we needed both bedrooms, but one side of the apartment was always a poor place to sleep. We bought earplugs, and wearing them night after night felt very uncomfortable. The club and street noise also woke the baby often. The first solution offered was to move us to a cheaper room in another location, with less space and worse reviews. We obviously declined. The next offer was a suite in the same location for three nights in the middle of our stay, but we’d have had to pack everything, move, then pack again to return to the original room. With a small baby, that much packing and unpacking was too inconvenient, so we couldn’t accept it. In the end, they left flowers in our room, a nice gesture, but bugs from the bouquet fell onto the dining table where our baby would eat. The interior and cleanliness were spot on, but not being able to sleep at a hotel at this price was a major flaw. The noise badly affected our stay and it didn’t meet our expectations.
