Hotel Aiglon

The rooms are beautiful, and there's a great restaurant next door. I misplaced my credit cards in the room, and the company got in touch right away with pictures of the cards I'd left behind. They gave me the options of picking them up, having them shipped, or having them disposed of.

The family room was spacious, especially for Paris, and having a foyer where our little one could nap meant we could spend time in a separate room. The modern bathroom was clean, with a separate toilet, bath, and shower. The big windows looked out on leafy greenery with dappled sunlight. Staff were lovely, especially for Paris. It's close to the metro and the catacombs, cemetery, and Luxembourg gardens, and the Saturday markets on the next street are great. The area is generally good, though not great. We had trouble finding good restaurants at moderate prices, but there's a nearby station that makes it easy to get around Paris.

We only had one night before catching a morning train, and this hotel worked perfectly. It's near a lovely park and the train station, with loads of restaurants around. Our bedroom was big and had useful touches, including a walk-in cupboard for bags and a roomy bathroom. The staff were 5 star quality. One of the best hotels we've stayed at in that part of Paris, and we'll come back next time.

Our family of three had a lovely stay. The room was modern and spacious, and you can add on from several breakfast options. The hotel is near several metro lines, but set a little away from the busy areas. There are lots of places to eat, and Luxembourg gardens and palace are a short walk away. It's kid-friendly too: they gave my daughter a goodie bag at arrival and have baby gear if you need it. Would recommend!
