Hotel Carladez Cambronne

We stayed a few days with our two dogs and felt at home from the start. The staff welcomed us warmly and were just as kind to the dogs. Our room was spotless and cozy, with enough room for all four of us. Although the hotel is in the middle of Paris, it was very quiet. Cafés, parks, and famous sights are within walking distance, which made exploring easy. It's a lovely place for couples traveling with dogs who want comfort, charm, and a good location. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back.

We slept really well in the comfortable bed, and the room was cleaned thoroughly each day. The staff were kind, professional, and available around the clock whenever we needed help. The room itself was spacious, with a lovely view. The neighborhood was quiet but close to metro and bus stops, and the Eiffel Tower was about a 20-minute walk away. There was also an excellent pastry shop right beside the hotel for morning coffee and a fresh croissant. A fantastic stay, and I'd happily recommend it and return on another Paris trip.

The staff were nice, but based just on our room, I'd rate the hotel closer to two stars than three. It was tiny, had an unpleasant smell when we arrived, like after a wine party, and had some damage: cabinet doors were coming off and a wall light was loose. The bathroom was very cramped, and the shower seemed suitable only for fit people. There was also a strange stale smell in the halls. Sadly, it wasn't worth the cost.

The reception team's manners and way of dealing with guests could be better. To me, it didn't feel professional enough for a three-star hotel, and they didn't give much information. The cleaning staff and the woman helping at breakfast were great, though. Rooms were cleaned daily, and she helped whenever we had questions or needed something, like warm milk. Our window gave us a nice view of the very top of the Eiffel Tower. It's a great area with bakeries, small fruit shops, and restaurants, and the Tower is about 20 minutes away, or 15 if you walk fast. Breakfast is limited to croissants, cereal, capsule coffee, juice, and bread. For the same price, you could get more variety at a nearby bar.
