Don’t book a single room here. Mine was on the ground floor, wedged between reception and the public toilet. It was noisy, smelled of the toilet, had no light, and the window made me feel like I was in a fishbowl. The room felt soulless, and I felt taken in by the reviews, which are obviously about other rooms. The location’s positive points don’t come close to making up for all that. Thank God I’m only here for 12 hours.

The location is first class, close to transit, cafes, and a supermarket. We paid a price I found fine for four nights in a standard street-view double at this 3-star hotel, but at that price I wouldn’t upgrade, since there are more options for the extra cost. The room was dated and small, and the bathroom and shower were cramped, though I managed to squeeze in. The AC was set at 25 celsius no matter how I adjusted it. Staff were polite and obliging. In retrospect I’d rate the hotel 2.5 stars because of the room and bathroom conditions. A deluxe or superior room may be a better choice.

There were lots of places to eat and drink nearby, and the location was really good, especially for young people. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was big enough and cleaned every day, and breakfast was good and kept being refilled. I’d recommend it to teens visiting Paris! (:

We had a really nice stay. The rooms were big enough and had everything we needed, and breakfast was good. It’s in a great spot near metro lines, bars, and restaurants. The staff were very friendly, thank you!
