The location was very good, the rooms were tidy, and we enjoyed our stay. But they took a €150 deposit, apparently for the minibar and as assurance that nothing would be taken from the rooms. I can understand having a deposit, but getting it refunded is taking a long time and several emails. Two weeks after our visit, it still hasn’t been transferred back. They said it would be returned when we checked out, but that didn’t happen. Hopefully they’ll refund it soon. Fellow travellers, be aware!

The hotel has only just reopened, so everything seemed picture perfect. The staff were wonderful, and the rooms are small, though I’d say that’s standard for Paris. It’s a beautiful little hotel in a perfect location. I’ll definitely stay again.

We stayed four nights and four days at this beautiful hotel and were completely satisfied. It was a lovely visit, and we hope to return one day. Thank you for the service!

The location was wonderful and the room very nice, but the room cleaning could have been a lot better.

The location was the best part: the hotel is in a safe, quiet area, close to Metro stations and lots of attractions. The Arc de Triomphe is less than a five-minute walk, and the Eiffel Tower about ten minutes. We also loved the nearby cafes, especially Merci Jerome. My boyfriend and I came to Paris for the first time and had an amazing stay at Hotel De Sévigné. The staff were so kind and went out of their way to help. We were jet-lagged on arrival, and they let us check in six hours early at no extra cost. We loved our room and its balcony and view. There were a couple of small disappointments that didn’t affect our trip: housekeeping didn’t leave enough toilet paper, so we had to keep asking the front desk for more. The bathrooms also have no fans, and steam built up easily, setting off the fire alarm and sending worried guests down to the lobby. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Paris!
