The staff even helped us get our bags up the stairs when we switched rooms. We were first put on the 4th floor, then asked for a change and got a spacious room on the 2nd. The hotel was clean and handy for the metro, in a lively part of town, and everyone was very friendly. We'd happily come back.

There are plenty of Turkish and Lebanese places to eat nearby. The hotel itself is a clean, reasonably priced option in a busy neighborhood.

We paid about 400e for four weekday nights, which was very affordable, and the staff were lovely. Getting around was easy: buses and the metro are close, and many sights are walkable within an hour. The bedroom windows and curtains did a good job blocking light and noise, though morning sunlight came through a glass panel in the bathroom door. Inside the hotel, footsteps on the stairwell carried loudly into the bedroom. The mattress was okay, but dipped on one side.

The staff mix-up meant we had to spend one of our three nights at another hotel, though they covered that accommodation. The staff were pleasant, breakfast was okay, and the location was good for the price. Cleanliness was a real issue. Dust and dirt had collected under the beds, and after a few hours in the room some ants, or something like ants, were crawling over our leftover food. At this price it just about passes if you're willing to accept poor hygiene. I'd rate it 5.5/10, but wouldn't stay again.

The host was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very clean. For the money, it’s hard to beat the location: the M2 stop is right beside the hotel, Belle Ville is nearby, and bus stops including the 96 are just around the corner. Cafes, food places, and supermarkets are right across the street. I’ll leave point five missing 😀 A couple of drawbacks: there’s no lift, so getting to a room on the 4th or 5th floor takes effort. The rooms aren’t soundproof either. At night you can hear people in the next room talking loudly or snoring. The radiator heating didn’t keep the room comfortably warm, which could be tough in colder months. Given the cost, it’s your call. More money does tend to get you more.
