Hôtel des ducs de Bourgogne

From arrival to departure, everything was exceptional. I've stayed in hotels all over the world and haven't encountered reception staff as warm, cheerful, and genuinely welcoming as these. My only small note is that I wish the thermostat weren't automatically set to 25 degrees. Sometimes I would have preferred it warmer, but it didn't affect my stay at all. Keep up the great work. I'll be recommending the hotel to my friends.

I loved having a Japanese toilet and just a shower, with no bathtub to climb into. The thermostat controlled the air conditioning when needed, and despite my window facing a busy street, it was pretty quiet. There was a mini fridge with three complimentary drinks as a welcome gift, plus a filtered water container to refill whenever you wanted. You could have the espresso machine restocked when the room was cleaned or pick up supplies in the lobby. The rooms can be small, but you're in the middle of everything and out exploring most of the time. That's typical for inner-city hotels, which are often even smaller. The decor was beautiful, the room comfortable, and the staff lovely. For this part of the city, it was well worth the money. I hope to stay here again.

The hotel was nice and affordable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's in a great spot, near several kinds of transport and about a five-minute walk from either the Louvre or Notre Dame. We had a wonderful stay.

The staff and location were the best parts of the hotel. I also loved the bathroom, especially the Japanese toilet and heater for clothes. The room was small, as expected, so a junior suite might suit anyone who needs more space. I asked for a quiet room a week before arriving, but I'm not sure why I was given 205, right opposite the elevator and facing the main street on the second floor. My sleep was disturbed for both nights. I'd still choose this hotel again.
