Hotel l'Antoine

The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the hotel is well situated near place de la bastille, with lots of restaurants and bars close by. The room is narrow and quite small, with barely enough space to get out of bed. The shower is nice, though the whole bathroom is tiny.

I appreciated having tea and coffee making facilities in the room. It and the bathroom had a quirky modern design, were very clean, and did what I needed. The room was small but very quiet, on the fifth floor facing the rear of the building. I'll be back!

We ended up here after having to abandon a short-term rental around the corner because of several issues. It was nice to get the full hotel experience for this part of our trip: bag check, a friendly front desk, elevators, and a sauna too. Those things all add up, especially when you're escorting elderly parents. It's an easygoing hotel in the 11th, and this little pocket of Bastille is a great place to stay. We've already recommended it to several friends and will keep it on our list for next time in the city.

It's a busy street and was noisy even in the middle of the night, so I'd suggest booking a room at the back. The hotel is clean and modern, with spacious rooms and good beds. We stayed a few days, Sunday to Wednesday, and the receptionist was kind and very helpful. The location is great, close to the metro and within walking distance of the Marais, restaurants and bars. The breakfast really needs improving, it's very poor for a four-star hotel. There's a very good bakery next door.
