Hotel Locomo

The little extras were a lovely touch, especially the free cake, apple, and drinks, and breakfast was amazing. The staff were incredible and the rooms clean. It’s only about five minutes from the train station. Definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Paris, 10/10.

Hotel Locomo is an easy 3-minute walk from Gare de Lyon, which made the location perfect for me. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well kept, and the staff were so welcoming and kind. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming to Paris.

We were in Paris for just one night and arrived by train late in the morning, before our room was ready. The hotel let us leave our bags, so we could go out and explore. It’s only a minute or two on foot from Gare du Lyon, with the Metro right by the station. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom clean with a good shower. The windows and walls seem well insulated, and we slept soundly. The hotel itself was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There’s free coffee and snacks in the lobby too. I’d consider staying here if you want somewhere safe, clean, and quiet in Paris.

The whole room filled with a foul sewage smell because of plumbing and toilet problems. The bathroom pipe shaft is damaged, the door won’t shut, and the lock is loose. If spending the whole night with that smell sounds appealing, this is the place for you.
