Bridgestreet Trocadero Etoile

The staff were super friendly, and we had a very comfortable bed. The room itself was tiny, though the price was good compared with other places in Paris, and we only stayed one night, so we weren't expecting more. The bathroom could use an update, but the shower pressure was great. We were there with our two-month-old, and the lift was so small that my husband had to carry the pram up to the third floor. The location is also handy, just a few minutes on foot from the Eiffel Tower.

Jude was especially kind and helpful, and his assistance made our trip even better. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Etoile Trocadero. Our room was comfortable, and the location worked perfectly, with the Eiffel Tower a short walk away and the metro nearby for getting around Paris. Highly recommend!

We lost £300 on this booking, and I'm furious about how it was handled. We were staying at a Disney resort hotel and had booked one night in Paris here. The hotel was widely advertised with rooms, including on booking.com. The day before our stay, we learned that protests were planned and that the slogan was “we block everything,” with routes into central Paris blocked. Shops were closed, and we felt it wasn't safe for children and families to go there. We called booking the day before and were told we'd get a refund. We also have that confirmation by email, but the next day we were told there would be no refund. Paris was basically on lockdown, and we couldn't get there. Videos on Instagram were also showing how unsafe the centre was. The hotel should have put a note or warning on its site that people travelling into the city might not be able to reach it, since getting there was impossible. This was appalling service. The hotel kept our £300 despite knowing the situation. Absolute scammers!

The staff were so polite and kind. It's a nice, cozy hotel, recommended.
