Hôtel Mayflower 3* Champs-Elysées Paris

I was really disappointed by my stay at Monsieur George Hotel & Spa. I arrived early because I’d been told early check-in would be possible, but receptionist Élise said it wasn’t available and was dismissive. There was very little effort to help or suggest another option. The spa was surprisingly tiny, with hardly any room to sit and relax given how it’s presented. Along with the rude, unresponsive service, the experience fell well short of what I expected at this price.

Our honeymoon was overshadowed by a deeply upsetting stay. About $4,000 went missing from the in-room safe, and when we reported it, staff and management showed little urgency or care. At checkout, our concerns were brushed aside, with no real investigation or help offered. We left feeling violated, dismissed, and stressed. A safe should be safe, especially at a hotel presenting itself as a luxury choice for occasions like honeymoons. After reading about other guests’ experiences on different websites, we realized this may be a recurring problem. Please take your money elsewhere.

I was lucky to spend three nights here. The rooms are spacious, stylish, and comfortable, and the staff were lovely. They were patient and kind with my requests. They even arranged a taxi to the airport early on Christmas morning. A big thank you!

The spa felt like a little oasis in central Paris, and the restaurants served the most delicious coffee and eggs I’ve ever had. There’s a lovely Parisienne scent through the lobby and bar, too. From the moment you arrive, the attentive, professional staff make sure you’re looked after. What a wonderful hotel and spa!
