Hotel Mimosa

The neighborhood has food from all over the world and feels really cosmopolitan. The train station and metro are just a three-minute walk away. The hotel was spotless, and the staff were fantastic, happy to welcome my girlfriend and me. A must when you’re in Paris. I’ll be back soon and plan to stay at this lovely hotel again.

The location worked really well for us. The metro is only a few minutes away, and it takes about 15 minutes to reach central Paris. There are also shops, good places to eat, fast food and bars nearby. We loved our stay at Hotel Mimosa. Our room was spacious, with a lovely bathroom, a large shower with good pressure, a comfortable bed and plugs and ports on both sides. There was a flat-screen TV too. No iron in the room, but the very pleasant staff brought us one when we asked. The only downside is there’s no lift. Otherwise it’s great value, and I’d recommend it if you want an affordable stay in a nice area.

We appreciated having air conditioning, and the rooms were small but comfortable. Most of the staff were friendly, though one younger man wasn’t very nice. Hotel Mimosa was pretty much as described on the website. The stairs get tight when you’re carrying luggage, particularly on the upper floors, but they’re manageable. The bathroom shower is open to the rest of the room, so everything gets wet and stays that way for a few hours. The bed’s reading lights had no bulbs. We could hear people coming and going from their rooms, though no other sounds from guests. Metro lines and bus stops are close by.

A convenient location and a lovely little hotel. The staff were so accommodating. On my second day, they offered to move me to a lower floor so I wouldn’t have to climb so many stairs. I’ll definitely return.
