Hôtel Oratio

The staff were very friendly, and I felt comfortable using the hotel as my base over four days. The location is great: the Louvre is about a 25-minute walk and Notre Dame around 15, with metro lines at similar distances. Rooms are small but functional. There’s tea, coffee, and hot water on the ground floor, though not in the rooms. The in-room safe is too small for a laptop but fine for valuables and passports.

We were there from 26th September to 30th September, and it was amazing. The balcony was my favourite part of the room we booked, and the room was very clean and a great size for Paris. Front desk service was amazing too. The location is perfect, about a 10-minute walk to Notre Dame and very close to metro and bus stations. We’d definitely stay again!

During our four-night visit, we always felt looked after, with front desk staff around at all hours, and the service was great. The room was small, as you’d expect in Europe, but it had everything we needed. Hôtel Oratio is a lovely little boutique hotel in the Latin Quarter, with a local feel and a bit off the beaten path while still within walking distance of several major Paris sights. We’d recommend it, and be sure to check out some of the great restaurants around Rue Mouffetard.

Adam and Hamid made sure we knew our way around Paris each day, with directions and tips that helped us have a great time. They really stood out for how well they looked after us and made the stay memorable. We loved the clean, fresh room and the hotel facilities, too. The location was great.
