Hotel Studia

We used this simple hotel for a three-night Paris sightseeing trip, and it worked brilliantly. Its location was especially handy for going out at night. The staff were friendly and ready to help, and the price felt fair for the area. ⭐👍🏻

The location made this a good choice for a one-night visit, with transport nearby and plenty of nice bakeries and restaurants around. The street is lively, though we were too tired to mind. The sheets and room were clean, and reception made us feel welcome. We did have to leave our key when we went out, which felt odd, but I wasn't concerned since we had no valuables with us. The room could use renovation, but that wasn't a major issue for us. It wasn't hot during our stay, so we didn't need air conditioning, though that could be a problem on hot summer days. For the money, it was the best option I could find. It's suited to a short stay where you mainly need a place to sleep and shower. I'd stay here again if I return to Paris.

The room was clean and had what I needed, and the staff were both friendly and helpful. There's a little balcony, too. The toilet area opens straight onto the room, so there's not much privacy. Still, it was perfectly fine for a night.

The location is fantastic and the price was lower than the other places I found. The sheets were clean, and there's a delicious bakery next door. If all you want is a cheap bed, it could work. The building itself is very run down, with stained old carpets, tilted stairs, and an elevator that felt scary and took ages. My top-floor room had no AC and was horribly hot. WiFi didn't reach the desk, so I had to work from the bed. The front desk was messy and chaotic, with papers everywhere and old BIC pens, like a post office in the 80s. The man working there was friendly and polite, though. Location and price are the only real draws.
