The staff were SUPER nice and it was quiet, so sleeping was no problem. It's close to transit and places to grab a late-night snack. The area is a bit rough, but if you're from ANY city in the US, you'll manage. There are no elevators, so be ready to carry your bags. All in all, I'd recommend it.

It's very cheap, and very low quality. My room had a shared bathroom on the 5th floor, a door that didn't lock properly, and an itchy blanket with holes, apparently from a couple of cigarette burns. There were bed bugs, and bits of food left by the previous occupants. Check your room before checking in! On the plus side, it's near the train and metro stations and Sacré-Cœur, and the staff were OK. The rest was rubbish. Can't recommend it.

The people were nice, but my room was bad. I'd have been less bothered if it were insulated properly, because it was so cold I got sick. Maybe it's okay in summer, though with no AC it could get too warm. Either way, I don't recommend it. You get what you pay for.

The people were very nice, and the price was reasonable. It's not far from the train station. I found a lovely breakfast nook next door where I could get coffee and a croissant in the morning.
