ibis Paris Bercy Village 12ème

The staff were exceptionally kind, always smiling and ready to help, and the hotel's location is great. Breakfast was good overall, especially the fresh French pastries, but over the whole week there wasn't a single vegetable. I also couldn't understand why the ham was cut into strips. That might be fine for two or three days, but it became tiresome over a week. The room was small, and the TV mounted on decorative panels stuck out enough that I hit it every time I walked past the bed. The panels seem to cost 20-30 cm of space that would have made the room more comfortable. The bathroom was comfortable, though it could have been cleaner. There was no mini fridge or kettle. My key card kept failing and I had to return to reception to get it reactivated. I didn't think much of it the first time, but by the fifth I was fed up.

I know this hotel and the area well, though it had been a few years since I stayed. It was lovely to find it still just as good. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent, and the staff were welcoming and professional. Impeccable, loved it!

Bercy Village and Cour Saint-Èmilion metro station are very close, and the hotel is in a good location. We stayed two nights. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I'd absolutely come back. For the location and price, it's a great hotel, with just a few quirks. The building was very warm, especially our room. When I turned on the air conditioning, it blew hot air whatever setting I chose. The room also felt a little tired in places. It had a recycling bin in the bathroom but no bin for other rubbish in the room.

This is a comfortable base for seeing Paris. The metro is directly across the street, and the new line gets you close to the centre in 10-15 minutes and to Orly airport in 20. The neighbourhood felt nice and safe, with lots of shops in Bercy village, a lovely spot, and Bercy park is worth a look too. The room was modern and clean but very minimal, with just a few hangers and one shelf. The bed was huge and comfortable, and nothing disturbed my sleep. I also had a beautiful Eiffel Tower view from the window. Breakfast was repetitive each day, mostly bread and no vegetables, though the French cheese was very good.
