ibis Paris Gare du Nord la Fayette 10ème

Doriane, Rachelle and Daira made me feel at home with their kindness, warm smiles and real dedication to good service. They made an already lovely stay even more special. I had a joyful, wonderful time. My room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the whole place had a calm feel. The delicious breakfast, lovely facilities and beautiful garden made for a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

Just 200 meters from the station, the hotel is practical and in an excellent location. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. Special thanks to Doriane, Daira, Laure and Antoinette for being so attentive and giving us helpful tips for getting around Paris.

The location is handy, close to the train station and bus stops, with shops and good restaurants nearby. The whole team was kind, understanding, supportive and helpful. Laure was a real help during our stay. She was kind, pleasant, professional and friendly, such a ray of sunshine!

The reception staff were AMAZING, all of them, the gentleman and both ladies. I booked a chain hotel because I’d read bad reviews about privately owned hotels in Paris, including theft, and thought a chain would follow some standards and feel safer. I did feel secure here. The windows also surprised me by blocking sound well enough, and the cleaning was better than I expected. No dirty smell or anything. The building is outdated and not very cozy, though it has a peculiar 1960s bordello vibe, with all those reddish colors. It almost felt like a horror movie hotel, which was interesting! The next morning I saw families with kids and older people, and the guests seemed decent. The area seemed decent too, so nothing to worry about. It meets the standards of a 3-star hotel. I’d only recommend it if you can’t find another option, since it’s dated and doesn’t invite you to stay more than two days. I moved to Ibis Paris Gare Montparnasse Catalogne for two days. That one is recommendable and was the same price, if only I’d known.
