Camping de Paris

We had a great short break with our two young children in this lovely chalet. It was clean and well equipped, and the kids loved the play area. The place is in a beautiful part of the city, with easy access to Paris and a shuttle that was simple to use. A fab place to stay.

The staff were very pleasant, and the park is well placed for sightseeing in Paris. We rented electric bikes there and rode into Central Paris. Camping itself isn’t really catered for: there’s only one small, muddy patch of grass for tents, under the trees, and birds kept doing their business on our tent. We camped for 3 nights.

A very nice camping facility, with clean washrooms and showers every time we used them. There’s a small grocery store with some fresh baked goods, plus a comfortable, pleasant bar and sitting lounge. Service was great everywhere we went, and there’s a nice playground for kids. Downtown Paris takes 35 to 45 min by bus or metro. I stayed in my Caravan, though they also have lots of cabins to rent.

We got in late after driving through snow, but the café bar was still handy for pizza and drinks. The campsite is in a great spot just outside Paris, with lovely staff and good facilities. Having a shuttle to the nearest Metro station made it an ideal stop for us.
