L'Adresse Hotel

I stayed here on a previous trip and wouldn't recommend it. The hotel charged me twice even though I'd already paid through my credit card portal. They said they'd issue a refund, but I never got it. After months and several attempts, a staff member finally pointed out the record showed they'd refunded the money to the hotel's own account. I asked the manager to look into it, but got no follow-up by email or phone. Very disappointing management. I still have all my evidence, but it's not worth the hassle to stay here. I've lost over 1000 euros, or 1200 USD.

We'd been loyal guests for years, but this visit was awful. We'd booked a superior room for seven days and were put in a disgusting attic space, with the elevator opening straight into it. It was impossible to stay there, so we left immediately and our holiday was ruined. Never coming back.

The location is decent, not too far from all the sights. Everything else was terrible. The rooms are tiny, the smallest I've stayed in at this price, and water dripped through the bathroom lights from the floor above. Bathroom fittings and shelves were broken or loose, the light switches were broken, and the drains didn't work. Worst of all, the shower only got lukewarm at best. I don't recommend this place at all.

The hotel and our room both smelled awful from the moment we walked in. It was even worse in the bathroom, which smelled like sewage. The shower drain was broken and seemed to let the smell in; the shower head dripped, and the water never got warm. The room was so dusty I coughed all night. It felt as if nobody had used it in ages. The location was great, very close to the Metro, which made it convenient to get to the Louvre and Eifell Tower. Street parking was a nightmare and didn't seem safe. Parking Indigo Porte Maillot was safe and affordable for a daily rate. Also, the mini bar sign said everything except water would be charged, but at checkout they wanted €3 for a tiny bottle of water. We wouldn't recommend the hotel. We only stayed because our rate was non-refundable.
