Cléry Apartment

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and great staff in a moderately priced hotel that doesn't feel pretentious. The service was wonderful. You can hear thin walls and the small elevator, plus a little rumble from the Metro below, but it's Paris!

The bathroom was much larger than average for Paris, and it was nice coming back to a clean room and treats in the lobby. The staff were kind and attentive, Eric was phenomenal, and the location was fantastic. We absolutely loved our stay at Le Clery, 10/10.

We felt welcome from the moment we arrived and throughout our stay. The hotel's in a perfect spot, close enough to see all the sights and right beside a Metro station. Lovely place, I'd highly recommend it.

The hotel is very clean and in a great location, with easy access to anywhere by Metro or on foot. What brought my rating down was a booking issue: the room with a balcony that we'd reserved wasn't available because of what we were told was a technical problem. We could wait for them to resolve it or take an equivalent-size room without a balcony. That choice itself didn't bother me, these things happen, and we got to see the alternative before deciding. The problem was when I asked about the price difference. I was told there wasn't one, even though a quick look at the hotel's website showed that balcony rooms did cost more. That turned what could have been a five-star experience into a three-star one. I wouldn't stay again because of how this was handled.
