Chez Pepe Merle

We were so happy with our stay in Paris and are already looking forward to coming back. Claire made us feel at home, and her breakfasts were different and delicious every morning. The place was beautiful and very clean, with Claire paying attention to every little detail. It's close to the metro and to anything you might want or need. I'd happily return just for breakfast!

I really liked the neighbourhood. It feels less touristy than other parts of Paris, and the room, „Oberkampf“, was cozy. „Chez Pépé Merle“ had a warm, welcoming feel, and breakfast was delicious.

The hostess handled our special requests easily, and there were different pastries at breakfast each day. This is a gorgeous B&B in a quieter, non-touristy part of Paris, with plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby. The bed, linens, and furnishings are all top quality. I'd recommend it to anyone who loves Paris.

The Oberkampf room was very cute, and though you cross the common area to reach the shower and toilet just outside the bedroom, that bathroom is private to the room and isn't shared, as the website says. The B&B is two flights up, with locked doors at the building entrance and at the B&B entry. Our arrival and departure times were accommodated, which we appreciated. Claire was welcoming and made a lovely breakfast. We had yogurt parfaits, baked figs, and different breads, jams, and cheeses. The place was clean, nice, and cozy. The metro is a quick walk away, and there are shops and cafes downstairs on the street. We really enjoyed staying here in Paris and would recommend it. Merci, Claire!
