Hôtel De Lorraine

The staff were so helpful and made me feel at home during my stay. The hotel is really well located.

We were next to a room being fixed, and I’ve never had so much noise in one night. The doors and yelling made parts of it feel like a bad horror movie. It wasn’t a clean or quiet place. At night someone tried to get into our room, then gave up when he heard we were awake. It was a terrifying experience. The male receptionist wasn’t very nice. He reacted insensitively when I tried to communicate with them, and was rude. He also tried to get more money from us for our one-night stay, insisting I hadn’t paid. Please don’t support this hotel. Hotels where tourists are this exposed should be illegal in Europe.

The cockroaches kept me company at night, and cigarette burns on the bedsheets and nightstands were a nice touch. The beds felt like sleeping on the street, and the room was disgusting for the amount of money we paid. The bathroom had no door, so it stayed moist enough for fungus to grow and maintain a diverse ecosystem. The staff were unfriendly but happy to help you spend plenty of money. If you don’t like feeling safe at night, it’s quite an experience. 5/5 would recommend.

The guests and staff didn’t respect the schedule. Even after midnight they talked loudly and made a lot of noise. There was a cigar smell throughout the hotel, and I found a bug in my bed. The place was dirty and old, with everything broken. The bathroom door wouldn’t close, and there was no toilet in the room’s bathroom. You had to share one with the whole floor. The curtains were dirty and marked with cigarette burns. The heater and TV didn’t work. TERRIBLE!!!! Worst hotel I’ve stayed in. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL EVER !!!!!
