Paris Marriott Champs Elysees Hotel

We came back more than 12 years after our honeymoon, and the stay beat our expectations. The renovated rooms still have their charm. Alex welcomed us at check-in and made it feel like coming home. We were upgraded to a room with an Effiel tower view, which was lovely to enjoy after a long day exploring the city. A great way to end the evening, and we’ll return for another date night.

Right in the heart of Champs-Élysées Street, the hotel has a very welcoming, spacious room with a layout mainly designed for accessibility. I loved the decor and the room size was just right. If you’re arriving on a Sunday, keep in mind the street is closed, so getting your luggage to the hotel may be a bit tricky.

The rooms are comfortable, clean, and up to a solid standard, and it’s a reliable Marriott choice in central Paris. Having underground parking is a big advantage here, since street parking is both important and rare in the city center. Ask ahead for a street-facing room if you want windows that open. The ones facing the inner courtyard can’t be opened. Everything else was at a good level, though Paris is always very fully booked.

The terrace was almost as big as my room, though the views were mostly of interior buildings, with the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur visible in the distance. In summer it would probably be lovely out there, but it rained for almost my whole stay in February 2026, so I didn’t use it much. I was on the 7th, top floor, in a room with a terrace. The room itself was small, even by Paris standards. The hotel is right on Champs Elysees, between the Sephora store and Guerlain store. The entrance is easy to miss, but several metro stations are within a few minutes’ walk, including Franklin D. Roosevelt on lines 1 and 9. Staff were friendly. The bathroom locks and is reasonably sized for a small room, with a decent, though not huge, shower and reasonably good water pressure. The lobby bar’s burger was excellent, and breakfast was OK. There’s no lounge, though the hotel gave vouchers for two drinks at the lobby bar, and there’s no bidet. The lobby is small, with a bar and a little sitting area. It’s functional, but not especially private or luxurious. I was thanked for my Titanium Elite loyalty, but didn’t receive an upgrade. A solid, functional hotel in a fantastic location, and I’d stay again.
