The staff really stood out, both at breakfast and on the front desk, where we rarely seemed to see the same people twice. Our room was on the small side, but I don’t think central Paris offers more space unless you pay quite a bit more. We were there over Easter Weekend, and the immediate area was very quiet. There wasn’t a charming little boulangerie right outside, and the machine-gun-carrying police about 100 metres away guarding the Elysee Palace made us look twice at first. Several metro stops are a 5-10 minute walk, depending which way you go. We had a very pleasant stay and would consider coming back.

The honesty bar in the lobby was a nice touch, a self-service setup we hadn’t come across before. The elevator was out for a short time while we were there, and when we checked out, they told us the drinks we’d had at the bar wouldn’t be charged because of the inconvenience. Before our trip, I’d let the hotel know I was planning to propose, and on arrival they’d upgraded our room and left drink vouchers and a lovely box of chocolates. The room was very nice, the service exceptional, and the location perfect. I highly recommend Le Pavillon des Lettres!

We spent one night in Paris to see a show and found a new little gem for our weekend visits. The rooms are nice, the staff are friendly, and it’s close to amenities, shopping, and sights. Breakfast was good too. For this price level, we couldn’t ask for more.

The room was spotless, and the layout worked really well, especially the bathroom. We had a great stay in a perfect spot in the 8th arrod. Service was excellent and everything went smoothly. Highly recommend!

We really liked the part of the city the hotel is in, and the room was both clean and beautiful. The staff were lovely and very helpful. I’d definitely come back.
