Hôtel Le Saint-Grégoire

It’s easy to walk to lots of places from here, and the neighborhood is quiet. The hotel has the feel of a quaint, lovely stately home, and makes for a great Paris experience. Staff are very friendly and helpful. A very nice boutique hotel.

We loved the breakfast room downstairs, with its display of baked goods, fresh jams, yogurt, and fruit. Having breakfast there was a lovely way to start the day. The area has plenty of restaurants and shops, and Luxembourg Gardens is within walking distance. The hotel and room were charming and quaint, and fresh flowers in our room lasted throughout our stay. From check-in to check-out, the service was impeccable. Thomas greeted us with a friendly Bonjour each day, and his very distinguished mustache deserves a mention. He quickly and cheerfully answered our questions about the area. We’re coming back in June to visit our daughter, but sadly there’s no availability. We’ll return another time!

The breakfast was delicious, and staff had everything well prepared for our arrival. They were welcoming and very nice, especially Thomas, who greeted us on day one, and they even let us check in early. Our clean room fit three people comfortably. We had a wonderful stay.

This is a lovely old hotel in an area that felt safe, with good shopping and food nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. When I couldn’t find a post box, one of the young men offered to take my mail home on his way. All the rooms are on the small side. If you can get one on the 6th floor, I recommend it, though there are only two rooms up there.
