Charming Apartment - 1br/4p - Epinettes

The apartment had modern decor and useful equipment, including a microwave and a large fridge. It was generally clean and the linens were clean too, though there were signs of wear: crooked pictures and marks on the headboard. The neighborhood felt fairly safe. The building layout was an unpleasant surprise. The apartment is on the second floor, reached through the building and an interior courtyard, then through a door into a small hall serving two units that seem to have once been one. The dividing wall is probably BCA, while the wall facing the hall is plasterboard, so sound carries badly. When the neighbor unlocked their door, it felt as if they were coming into our home. We also had a very unpleasant issue with the neighbors, who were doing suspicious things. Police came at 3AM and searched. I can't say whether this was an isolated incident, but the people managing both properties should be more attentive and present.
