Mercure Paris Centre Gare Montparnasse

I switched here after seeing it while staying at a lower-quality hotel nearby, and I'm glad I did. For the same price, this place was much better. The street is charming, with good restaurants and theaters, and the famous street of crêpe restaurants is just a block away. My week-long stay was great. The rooms were nice, and service felt both friendly and professional. I skipped breakfast, though the spread looked good. I'd stay here again.

The room was basic, but clean, and the staff were really friendly. Breakfast was very nice too. I stayed two nights at Mercure with my son and would come back if I needed to. Thanks!

There was filtered water in the shared area outside our room, which was a nice touch. The location is central, and the hotel feels modern and trendy. Our room had enough space for two, and the bathroom was clean and roomy. A couple of things weren't quite right: the mini fridge wasn't switched on, and the floor hadn't been vacuumed well. I found a sunflower seed and what looked like half a fig. Still, we had a good stay.

It was convenient to be just a four-minute walk from Gare Montparnasse, and the room I had was spacious. The building itself is pretty worn, though. I was surprised that the bins had been emptied and the towels changed, even though I hadn't asked, while the rest of the room hadn't been cleaned. That felt like poor service for a hotel that's meant to be four-star.
