OKKO Hotels Paris Porte de Versailles

Ali was kind and helpful throughout my four nights, and the housekeeping team kept my room clean. The bed and especially the pillow were incredibly comfortable, so I slept well. The visit was still pretty average, though. The sauna and gym were out of order, breakfast was just okay with quite a few fruit flies, and the presentation could use work. In room 816, the toilet sometimes kept running because it was partly broken. Omar was rude to us and other guests, which left a bad impression. I think someone should speak with him about his attitude. I might stay again if the sauna is working, breakfast is better set up, and the front desk is friendlier.

The rooms are tiny, but we had a good time hanging out and playing with friends in the lobby. It’s open all day and night, with coffee, biscuits, and nuts. The staff were friendly, and the hotel is near a metro station. Happy hour includes free drinks, though it’s around 6 pm, when you’re rarely back at the hotel. Parking was an issue for us as foreigners, so we had to use paid parking. Cars with French registrations can park in front, where there was usually space at the time, and there’s also a charging spot for electric cars.

We found the location a bit out of the way. It took 10-15 minutes to walk to the metro and back, buses weren’t close either, and there weren’t many shops or restaurants nearby. The hotel itself was really nice, with welcoming staff, comfortable rooms, good heating, and great soundproofing.

The location worked perfectly for our weekend plans in Paris, but the rest of the stay was a letdown. We came back after a full day out to find our room hadn’t been cleaned. The front desk didn’t seem concerned, and management never followed up. We could also hear traffic from the nearby highway all night because the room wasn’t well soundproofed. For the price, the experience fell far short of what we expected. We regret booking and won’t return, especially with so many nearby places that seem to offer better value and service.
