Hôtel Le Paris Singulier

The room smelled awful, and the TV didn’t work. There was mold on the walls, and the shower spilled onto the carpet within a minute of being turned on. Every 30 seconds, a loud buzzing came from inside the wall. It made sleeping impossible, honestly like torture. I can’t understand how this place still has the permits it needs to operate.

For £150 a night, this was a really poor standard. My deluxe double was very dated and smelled like mold or BO. The TV and fridge didn’t work at all, and it felt more like B&B standard. You have to leave your room key at reception, and they refused to deal with the problems. Don’t even consider staying at this inn.

My daughter and I were very happy here during our four nights in June 2025. The service and room were good, and the location worked perfectly for my main goal, being close to the Eiffel Tower. We could walk to the Trocadero in just a few minutes. There’s no elevator, but the staff helped us with our bags. We skipped breakfast because we wanted to try the cafes. Loved our stay!

We had an issue near the end of our stay when a guest in the small room next door smoked in his room and smoke came into ours. We told the woman at the front desk about it using Google Translator, which worked perfectly. She got the hotel director to speak with the guest, and the problem was resolved. They do care about guests’ comfort and satisfaction. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. The location was ideal, between two Metro lines, with food all around and the Eiffel Tower a 10-minute walk away. We had the Cindy Triple Room, which was just the right size for my friend and me. I liked that the toilet, sink, and shower were separate. The room was clean, and there was a hairdryer. It was fairly quiet too, apart from the garbage truck, which I could live with.
