A strong mold smell hit me as soon as I entered, coming from the bathroom. It was unbearable, and I worried about breathing in mold spores, so I even held my breath when I went in there. We contacted the owner, who came to clean it. That helped, but the black mold was still there. I felt this stay was putting my health at risk. I wouldn't return unless the mold was properly removed, which would take more than a quick clean. The tiles might need replacing, and the walls would need a deep clean.

In Le Marais, the apartment was right among the pretty streets, cafés, shops, and major sights, all just a few steps away. It was spotless, well maintained, and had everything I needed, with excellent amenities. Everything had been thoughtfully set up, so the stay felt easy from beginning to end and very much like home. I couldn't have asked for a better place in Paris and would happily recommend it.
