Maison Astor Paris, Curio Collection by Hilton

The breakfast had plenty of tasty choices, and we slept really well thanks to the comfortable bed and pillows. My husband and I found the room spacious and equipped with everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay in central Paris. My husband often stays with this hotel chain for work, and he’ll keep doing so. The quality really is outstanding. Thanks for everything.

We spent so much time walking around Paris, more than 100 kms, so having a bathtub for a long soak was great. It’s quite narrow, but worked fine for me. The queen room itself was small, which is why I gave the room four stars, though we weren’t in it much. The hair dryer and curling iron outlet was on the wall just outside the bathroom, which wasn’t very convenient, but I managed. I appreciated the little touches. When I asked for a different pillow, housekeeping promptly brought up a few options. They also left champagne on ice and macarons after we mentioned my birthday. There’s a small fitness room, and the restaurant and bar have healthy vegetarian dishes that can be adapted for vegans. Staff generally responded quickly to questions and requests through the Hilton app. It’s a sweet boutique hotel on a quiet side street, within walking distance of major sights. The beds were super comfortable. We had a great stay at a good price in Paris.

We arrived before check-in, expecting only to leave our bags, but the staff got us into a room almost right away. Lindsey even found us one with a view of the Eiffel Tower, which made our first visit to Paris feel magical. The team were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for getting around this already walkable city, and we felt safe in the area. It made a great first impression of Paris. I’d happily stay there again and recommend it to other travelers.

I was impressed by the service throughout, from the lobby and breakfast restaurant to the Club for dinner. The decor was beautiful, with the feel of a five-star hotel. I didn’t know the 8th arrondisment well, since I’d only visited Paris a few times many years ago. The hotel is on a quiet Street near St Honoré and Place St Augustine. I do wish the Club were more of a gourmet French restaurant instead of serving the same menu as room service. Still, the steak "via de du jour" was very good, and I’m giving the stay five stars.
