Maison Athénée

Our room was comfortable and beautifully designed, and the staff greeted us so warmly. Maison Athénée felt like a charming hidden gem. It’s an easy walk to many of Paris’s main sights, shops, and cafés. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel’s interior was really cute. We loved the location too, with plenty of nice restaurants nearby and Lafayette just a short walk away.

The room was a little dark even with all the lights on, and the rooms are small, though that’s to be expected in Paris, especially in older buildings. We liked the theater theme, fitting for a hotel named after the nearby theater, and would gladly stay again. We spent four nights here and were upgraded to a quiet, clean Superior room at the back. The staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was great, though the choices were limited, which makes sense for such a small hotel. The location is central and close to metro lines, on a relatively quiet street despite several open restaurants and bars.

Every room has its own character, mixing art deco style with a modern feel. The details were thoughtfully done, and we loved the music, especially the clever 1980s hits reworked in 1940s styles. It gave the stay a fun, unexpected touch. The location is hard to beat, on a charming side street with great restaurants and cozy bars nearby for an easy night out. From the moment we arrived, the people at Maison Athénée made us feel at home. We can’t wait to return.
