The staff and service were amazingly attentive, and nothing was left undone or unanticipated. I enjoyed the stay, with three rooms for my children and grandchildren as we celebrated a big life event. I’ve been coming to Paris since 1971 and have stayed everywhere from hostels to Le Bristol, with plenty of places in between. This was a wonderful stay.

The room had a pleasant view, but it felt small for a hotel charging nearly €2k a night. The building, location, and Left Bank charm are things I’ve loved for years. I’m a regular guest at Hôtel Lutetia Paris and even got married there. That’s why the poor service on our two-night Valentine’s weekend stay was so upsetting. The day before we arrived, I called to make sure flowers would be delivered before check-in. I was told someone would call back, but no one did. The next morning I spent over 15 minutes on hold trying again, and we arrived to no flowers. I’d mentioned more than once, when booking and again at the front desk, that I’d gotten married at the hotel. I wasn’t expecting anything grand, just a small gesture or note, but there was nothing. The concierge said we had a 9pm Valentine’s dinner reservation at Atelier Joël Robuchon. When I returned at 6pm to check, they couldn’t find it in the system. We had to look for somewhere else at the last minute on one of the busiest nights of the year, couldn’t find anything, and ended up at a local restaurant nearby. On Sunday, we planned to spend the day at the spa, only to find it closed for Valentine’s weekend, with no warning. Later, guest relations called to say my room-service Caesar salad had been “complimentary.” After so many service failures, that felt lame and almost insulting. The disappointment on my spouse’s face and the completely ruined weekend finally pushed me to write this review. The hotel is still beautiful, but it fell seriously short on service, anticipation, and attention to detail. Other luxury hotels like Cheval Blanc and George V keep raising the bar, while Lutetia seems to be going backwards.

The search is over. I’ve been to Paris many times and tried different hotels that were good, but never felt like my Paris home. Now I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. The staff are 10/10, and all the concierges were helpful, smart, and kind. They even had a suitcase delivered to my room. The room was perfect, and housekeeping did an amazing job. Room service was awesome. If you can, get a room with an Eiffel Tower view. It’s a real view, not just a sliver. I’ve stayed at the Ritz and had a great time there, but somehow this felt more personal and special. The view and location are everything.

We began our honeymoon here and had a wonderful time. The service and location were excellent, and the staff went all out for us. Their care really showed. The hotel is beautifully designed, and the spa and fitness area look like they belong in a James Bond movie.

The service was warm, discreet, and attentive, and Mr Hany gave us a warm welcome. Our room was spacious and immaculate, and the Art Deco style is beautiful. Everything felt refined but still welcoming. One of the finest hotels in Paris, and highly recommended. We had an exceptional stay at Mandarin Oriental Lutetia.
