Watching boats pass on the Seine was lovely, but the view couldn't make up for the stay. The rooms were basic, and I hadn't expected to share the toilet and bathroom, where other guests' towels were drying on the heater. Breakfast was even more limited, with stale bread and five jam flavors, plus honey and chocolate spread. The place felt untidy. At €60-75, it would've been fair for a guesthouse, but €126 felt hugely overpriced. There seems to be more potential here, which makes it a missed opportunity.

The sunsets and sunrises are incredible. Just be prepared for a 10 minutes walk to the nearest public transport, and buy all staff in advance since there are no stores nearby.

Captain Philippe made us feel like family and had great advice. The place was spacious and really clean, with amazing views from the bedroom through to the living room. We spent time relaxing on the terrace and watching barges go by on the Seine. Breakfast with our feet in the water, looking out at swans flying through the mist, was incredible. Simply wow. Thanks, Captain, we'll be back! 🤩 Highly recommended.
