Breakfast stood out, with a good-quality selection that worked for both early departures and slow mornings. Service was efficient and what I'd expect from a four-star place. The hotel's practical for families, tourists, and business travelers alike. It's right by Gare Montparnasse, with plenty of restaurants and cafés and good public transport within walking distance. The neighborhood is lively and useful as a base. Rooms are clean, functional, and well organized, though not large by Paris standards. Some have pleasant open views across the city. A dependable choice for a short Paris stay when location and comfort matter more than design or luxury.

Housekeeping was good, and our room was cleaned well and kept to a decent standard. The rest of the stay was a real disappointment, especially the front desk experience. When we arrived, the staff seemed cold and unwelcoming, with dismissive attitudes and no smiles. It got particularly upsetting when we asked for early check-in because a family member was unwell. They showed no empathy, offered no help, and suggested no alternatives. The front desk behavior felt hostile, and one competent department couldn't make up for it. We won't return or recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming stay. Breakfast was also disappointing. The menu stayed exactly the same for all four days, and things like the boiled eggs were served ice cold.

The bathroom had mold, and the tub wouldn't drain when I showered. The air conditioning only heated the room, so it was unbearably hot for sleeping, and the window couldn't be opened. Check-in was poor too. They gave me no information about the hotel and made little effort to communicate. Breakfast was bad, the food quality was low, and the coffee was disgusting. The room was expensive, and I'd avoid staying here.

Ordering food to the room was a big mistake. I asked for vegetarian soup, they agreed on sweet potato soup, and then brought meat soup instead, with what were definitely beef pieces. This isn't a joke. They need to take dietary requirements seriously. The staff had no empathy, and the rooms are ridiculous, with no power outlets near the bed. I could give this minus stars and would never recommend the hotel.
