Montsouris Orléans Hotel

The biggest issue for me was the noise. The rooms are very close together, and sounds from neighbors carry easily, which can be annoying if you're trying to sleep. If you're a sensitive sleeper, that could be a problem. Still, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it for a short trip or quick visit. The rooms are small but laid out well enough to be comfortable, especially for a brief stay with minimal luggage. The washroom is functional and fine for couples, though probably too limited in space for a family.

The staff were nice, and the location is convenient with the metro close by. There was warm water in the shower, and the old towels were clean. The room had dust, carpet stains, a hole in the blanket, and hair on the bed. The mattress was hard, and there was no soundproofing at all. I could hear a neighbor's message notifications, conversations, and intimate moments, and the room door slammed. The shower had fungus and rust. The washbasin was small and low, which would be uncomfortable for a tall person. I'd advise paying a little more to find a better hotel.

The hotel was a simple but good base for exploring Paris during our four-night stay, with metro and other public transport close by. Our air-conditioned room was clean, with daily cleaning and fresh towels each day. The shower head and bathroom door caused a bit of trouble, though it wasn't a big issue. Good value for a traveller.

The room was filthy, and there's no elevator. The hotel is also quite a way from the city centre. Horrible place, avoid it.
