Motel One Paris-Porte Dorée

The food and breakfast were very good, and there's a pleasant lobby where you can sit for a while. A wonderful museum is right next door. The rooms were clean, and staff were helpful. I did miss having slippers, and a refrigerator in the room would be useful. Getting here from the airport is fairly convenient, and the Eiffel Tower takes about 40 minutes by metro. The hotel isn't far from Paris, and if you like walking, you can reach it on foot from the city centre.

We got to Orly in about 25 minutes, and the main city sights were around 30 minutes away by train, which suited our plans well. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, including Mohammed, though I didn't catch all their names. A fridge or minibar in the room would have been nice, but drinks at the bar aren't expensive, and the guys make a mean cocktail. I'd definitely recommend the hotel.

From booking through the stay, everything went smoothly. My partner and I were comfortable the whole time, and the service was friendly, professional, and helpful. We had a great experience in Paris and would gladly come back and recommend the hotel.

Getting to Disneyland took us an easy hour, and the nearby metro also made it straightforward to reach Galeries Lafayette in 40 minutes or the Eiffel Tower in 50. The hotel itself was perfect for our two-night, three-day stay, with lovely clean rooms and a great breakfast. When I got sick, the employees were so caring: they brought me tea at night, let me check out after noon when I felt worse, and offered to call a doctor or bring another blanket. Everyone was wonderful. We'll definitely return.
