All the staff were really helpful and friendly, and the 24-hour reception made the stay better. It’s a simple hotel near Bastille and fairly close to Gare de Lyon. Breakfast was good, without loads of choices, but nothing was missing either. There weren’t many gluten-free or lactose-free options, though we didn’t ask. The room was a fair size, with a comfortable bed and a powerful hot shower. The toilet seemed easy to block, and the air conditioning was noisy at night even when switched off. I didn’t complain because I hadn’t realized it on the first nights.

The hotel is simple, but it’s run really well. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good, with as much or as little as you wanted. My room was comfortable, and the shower over the bath had strong pressure, though it might be tricky for anyone who isn’t very agile. There are some good places to eat nearby, and Bastille metro is about 100 metres away, with handy connections to the main sights.

We were close to Place de la Bastille, with the metro and plenty of places to eat nearby, which was great. The room was okay, though it felt a bit dated. Its heater was broken and really noisy, so I didn’t sleep very well.

The breakfast was delicious, especially the cheeses, cold meats, pastries, and coffee. There wasn’t a huge selection, but what they served was VERY good. The hotel is in a quiet, pleasant, safe area with plenty of nice cafes and restaurants around, and I thought it was great value for money. Highly recommend!

I was only in Paris for one night, and the small, charming hotel was just what I needed. My room was spotless, and the receptionist let me check in an hour early so I could get a much-needed power nap. Bastille has a lively cafe scene, though my favorite part was strolling along the waterway and looking at the boats.
