The location was perfect, and the staff were always around and helpful when we needed them. We stayed three nights as two adults and two children in a one-bedroom flat with a terrace at Montmartre Paris Suites. The flat was modern, and we liked the bathroom and separate toilet. We’d stay again, but would book a two-bedroom flat and avoid the basement terrace unit. The sofa bed was flimsy and completely uncomfortable, perhaps okay for toddlers but not for two adults or older children. We regretted not booking two bedrooms. Our terrace opened onto a well-like courtyard, with a huge heat pump mounted right above it. I assume it serves the whole aparthotel’s heating and cooling system. It was extremely noisy at night, even with the terrace doors shut. Flats without terraces may be quieter, so I’d suggest one facing the street with normal windows. There’s no central heating or radiators. The air conditioning units provide heat in winter by blowing warm air, and they’re noisy inside too. The air also gets very dry. The flat wasn’t very clean when we arrived, with lots of dust under the sofa bed. There was no household kit, broom, vacuum, mop, or kitchen towel, so we couldn’t clean it ourselves. We accepted this because we were there for only three nights and were grateful for the early check-in we paid for, as the cleaner may have had less time before we arrived. Extra cleaning during the stay costs €75, which we felt was expensive, so we didn’t book it. The biggest improvement would be a more comfortable sofa bed. For four people, I don’t recommend the one-bedroom flat.
