The staff were friendly and helpful, and the apartment is a good base for a family exploring Paris. The Eiffel Tower is right beside the building, and you can see it from inside the apartment. It's easy to walk around or take trains elsewhere in the city. For groceries and cooking supplies, Rue de Loremei by Dupleix station has a bakery, butcher, rotisserie, fruit and vegetable shop, plus a supermarket. There are lots of restaurants and cafes on both sides of the plaza by the Tower, and Noir across the River Seine has great coffee.

The apartment was very clean, and the views were breathtaking. We felt very safe in the area, with plenty of restaurants nearby and the train or metro within walking distance. The location was just right for us, and I'd absolutely stay here again.

The view of the Eiffel Tower was amazing, especially at night. Inside, the apartment had a huge living room near a modern TV, a dining table with about six or seven seats, and a safe that uses a key rather than a code. The rooms were very large and came with a kitchen, washing machine and dryer. There were three toilets. The bedrooms were nice, though the bunk bed in one room wasn't very comfortable and kept me a bit awake. One bathroom had a bath-shower, but the floor was quite slippery. The other shower was extremely small, just enough room to get in and turn around.

We've stayed at Résidence Charles Floquet twice now, and we'll certainly return. The spacious, elegant apartments and their unforgettable Eiffel Tower views, by day or night, make this place a real treasure. Suzan is what makes it especially memorable. She's warm, genuine and endlessly kind, with a graceful, attentive way of making you feel like a dear friend coming home rather than a guest. The building's tiny elevator may require patience, but it's part of the charm of this historic Parisian place, and upstairs you're rewarded with comfort and beautiful views. Suzan and Résidence Charles Floquet bring together so much of what we love about Paris: beauty, kindness and memories that last.

We booked the four-bedroom penthouse for one night in late August mainly for the view, and it was everything I hoped for. Seeing my family's reaction when they walked in made it worth it. There was lots of space for everyone to spread out, and the top floor felt magical. I'd highly recommend paying for it. One small thing to know if you're leaving early: there's no key drop or departure information. We couldn't reach anyone by phone or on the emergency number, and with our train coming up we were running late. I ended up taking the keys upstairs and locking them in the room. Even with that hiccup, it was an excellent stay.
