The hotel was cheap and clean, but the room was very old and small, with the tiniest bathroom I’ve ever seen. The shower is right above the sink and toilet. The heater was noisy and didn’t really warm the room. Breakfast is served in the basement, and the place felt dark and cold. Don’t come expecting a cozy stay.
For the price, this is a pretty good budget choice, as long as you’re okay with its drawbacks. The breakfast was the highlight: a surprisingly good selection for a two star hotel, and better than I expected. The rooms are small but have what you need, including a fairly comfy bed. The towels could have been cleaner, the WiFi wasn’t great, and the thin walls let me hear everything. It takes roughly 30-40 minutes to get to the center, so keep that distance in mind.
The surroundings were peaceful and pleasant, and breakfast was good. The room was cozy and nice, though a little small, but manageable for one person.
Please don’t book this hotel. We lost our camera and a handbag containing important IDs, including a residence permit, as well as bank cards. The staff were rude and didn’t help us at all.
The croissants were especially delicious, and breakfast was good. The service, though, was poor. Cleaning staff came to our room but didn’t do anything, just opened the window and left. There were no mosquito nets on the windows, and our room filled with mosquitoes.
