Residence Palais Etoile

The apartment made the biggest impression on us. We had plenty of storage and hangers, no long hallway wasting space, comfortable sofa beds, a good bedroom bed, and a small but pleasant, practical kitchen. From the photos I thought five people and big suitcases might be a squeeze, but it worked well. The lift was a relief after hauling bags up stairs in other cities, though we mostly took the stairs. Getting in was easy, and the little extras were thoughtful: water, snacks, coffee pods, and gifts. The shower had the best water pressure we’ve had in Europe, with a normal mixer that was easy to use. The washer-dryer worked and came with instructions. USB chargers, AC, and windows also made things comfortable. The location is great, above a lovely cafe and close to a grocery store, a refurbished metro station, a tram line, and rental bikes. It’s a short walk to the Arc de Triumph and a lovely park, and a quick bike ride to major landmarks and the CBD. I recommend setting up the Velib app beforehand. It somehow feels close to everything and still peaceful. We’ve stayed in plenty of apartments while traveling, and this has been our favorite so far in Europe, and one of my favorites ever. Bien!!! Merci!!! I’ll definitely stay here next time I’m lucky enough to visit the city of love!

With a three-year-old, being right by the train line made it easy to reach the main attractions. The apartment had what we needed, felt comfortable and homely to return to after exploring, and the washing machine was a bonus for traveling around. We had a wonderful stay in Paris at Residence Palais Etoile.

Bass was so kind and helpful. He shared great recommendations and even wrote them down, then kindly waited while we went back for our luggage. We really appreciated it. The room was beautiful, and its very central location made getting around easy. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very clean apartment with everything we needed, including air conditioning, which is handy because Paris does get hot. The dishwasher and washer-dryer were useful too. RER, Metro, and bus connections are right outside, restaurants are close, and there’s an epic supermarket about a five-minute walk away in Palais Congrès. We especially liked La Maison Charly for its delicious Moroccan food. We’ll definitely come back.
