The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the rooms were a good size with a little kitchen for making your own food. We stayed for two nights. The hotel is in north Paris, up quite a steep climb, but there are wonderful views nearby. Cleanliness wasn’t good. The floor was filthy enough that my white socks turned black after a few minutes walking around. There were brown stains on the bathroom door too, and I’d rather not think about what they were. We heard a constant humming all night, like AC from another room. The towels were paper thin and falling apart, and both the pillows and bed were far too soft and uncomfortable. There’s no housekeeping on short stays unless you pay over €10 each time. I know that’s their policy, but it feels incredibly cheeky. You go to a hotel expecting those perks, not extra charges for them.

Loved this place. Our room/apartment was spacious, very clean, and had a large bed, kitchenette with a fridge/freezer combo, dining table and big bathroom. The location in lovely Montmartre was great too. The guy at the front desk was helpful.

Montmartre has lovely city views, and we’d stay at this hotel again. Our room was clean, and the staff were friendly and gave us good tips on local places to eat. We stayed a few years ago in 2024. We hadn’t realized that the “mont” in montmartre means mountain, or hill, so the hotel turned out to be at the top of a large, steep hill. When we first arrived, the Metro elevator was broken and we had a long staircase to climb to reach street level. I presume it’s been repaired since then. If you have a day pass for the Metro, it covers the Fenicular railway up the hill to the Sacré Coeur church, and the hotel is a short walk from there.

The hill and all the stairs make it a bit of a challenge to get to the hotel, though that’s just how Montmartre is. The room was clean and quiet, with a nice view out the window. Staff were very nice and spoke English. It had a hair dryer, plates, microwave, safe, shampoo and body wash. The shower door only covered half of the shower, which was a small complaint. A wonderful first night in Paris, though I can’t compare it with other places yet.

The location is 10/10, and staff were really friendly and helpful. But we came for a few days to relax, not to oversee a room renovation, and I guess we could have raised the problems with them. The mattress had a big hollow, I slept badly and got back pain. The polyester sheets made us sweat like crazy, and the towels were worn out, as if they hadn’t been replaced in 10 years. Every door and window squeaked. They expected us to wash dishes in the dishwasher, but there was no detergent and the machine smelled disgusting. There wasn’t a sponge for washing something quickly by hand, and the sink kept getting blocked. We also booked partly because of the spa, but it was closed and that was never stated anywhere.
