The staff made us feel special throughout our stay. Everyone was warm and attentive, and from the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. The champagne on arrival was a lovely touch, and our children were thrilled to choose a toy from the treasure box. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which gave our family plenty of room and privacy. The property itself is stunning, steeped in history, and impeccably maintained. The dining and bars on site were excellent too. This was the highlight of our trip to Paris. I highly recommend it and would gladly return.

Our room was ready when we checked in, even though we’d arrived early, which we really appreciated. The same front desk agent helped us from check-in through checkout and was consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful. We’re sorry we didn’t catch his name, but his service made our stay at Shangri-La Paris memorable. We stayed 15-17 May 2026 in Room 412. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend Shangri-La Paris for its warm, attentive hospitality.

Inside the hotel, things were very nice. But during the riots after Paris’s Champions League win, we spent hours trying to get a Bolt, taxi, Uber, or Free Now on our phones. When my phone died, they wouldn’t let us back inside to charge it. It was 2 a.m., we were with our four- and six-year-old kids, and the chaos outside was getting worse. Once they’ve got your cash, it feels like there’s no humanity left.

The breakfast team made our visit especially memorable. Emily and Samanta were warm and welcoming, always smiling, and attentive to the details. Their professionalism and kindness made breakfast such an enjoyable experience. Shangri-La Paris was luxurious, beautifully located, and offered exceptional service in every way. Highly recommended, and I’d definitely stay here again.

This was one of the worst hotel stays we’ve ever had, and we’re extremely angry about the theft and the hotel’s careless response. Cash was stolen from all three of the friends we were staying with. We reported it right away, but the hotel gave no follow-up or explanation and took no responsibility. That’s unacceptable, especially for a place calling itself a luxury property. The basic service was poor too. Housekeeping didn’t provide toothpaste or refill the minibar. All four rooms we booked had the same problems, which points to a serious lack of management and service standards. Guest safety clearly wasn’t taken seriously, and the service was far below what anyone should expect at this price. This stay was deeply disappointing. We do NOT recommend Shangri-La Paris to anyone.
