Montmatre was a lovely place to stay, right in the heart of the area and close to the Sacre Coeur, with plenty of shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself feels quaint and typically Parisien. My room was very clean and a comfortable temperature. It was small, but the bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was tiny, as you often find in inner Parisien hotels, though the shower was good and the towels and products were changed frequently. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The bathrobes were my favorite part, they had some real weight to them. I adored the place: it’s in such a picturesque spot, and the staff were incredibly nice. The room was clean, though pretty small, especially the bathroom. I could barely fit in the shower! The bed was large and comfortable compared with the room, so that didn’t bother me. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it.

Don’t skip the French breakfast. The hotel is in an excellent spot for a Paris stay, and if seeing the Eiffel Tower from your room matters, I’d suggest booking one on the top floor.

The rooms are very small. We had to move the beds around just to open the wardrobe. Still, I’d stay again for the neighbourhood alone. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, and breakfast had plenty of choice and tasted good.

One thing to bear in mind is that Montmartre has steep streets and lots of stairs, which could be tough if you’re not very fit. The hotel is around 100 meters from Abbesses metro station, and it’s well placed if you want some quiet away from the city’s main roads without staying out on the edge. It’s cozy, quiet, and clean, with polite staff. The room and bathroom were up to a good standard. Breakfast had a broad selection and was well worth having.
